Welcome all to the middle of 2008 - and my hasn’t the time flown - much like it did last year, the year before that, and every other year since I hit 30 some years back!

And speaking of 30, I still recall the words my immediate boss down at East Balmain relayed to me over a paper-strewn desk some years back. “Mike”, he bellows, “you may be 21, but you’ll be 30 before you know it!” I laughed, as one of just 21 tends to do, like I knew better and didn’t care. I didn’t! But damn, he was right … where did that time go?

Anyway, enough of the waffling.

There’s been a few developments since my last post, most importantly the addition of several new clients to the CKL stable.

First, there is the complete redevelopment of the Tuggerah Lakes Golf Club website, which after several years of stagnation and a layout that screamed “CHANGE ME!”, was aging quicker than me. Check it out here www.tlgc.com.au.

Included in the overall package deal we provided, was the development of two sub-domains; one for the Seaspray Brasserie run so well by Andy Johnson and a new weddings website, to help promote this wonderful club as the premier location on the Coast.

Nestled spectacularly at Shelly Beach on the Central Coast, the club hopes to attract even more couples to its lush surrounds. What better backdrop than the Shelly Beach, North Shelly and the mighty Pacific Ocean! Also in the second quarter, we completed a website for the Bateau Bay Before & After School Care centre here on the Central Coast. A big thank you to Caroline and Caitlin for their valuable assistance and good nature.

Also in the works is a new web presence - Grammar Debugged, a fantastic concept that will help clear up the many vagaries of the English language. It should be online within the next four weeks! I’ll announce it here when it goes live.

I’ve taken time to update the hosting section - adding new images, more information, and even better deals! You might find cheaper website hosting if you look hard enough, but you won’t find a better customer service and a work ethic second to none! CKL is pleased to announce the addition of several websites to our growing portfolio.

In February/March we signed off on www.beawaresolutions.com.au and the Online Store www.beaware.com.au. Both websites were developed with much care and discipline, never straying from the owner’s commitment for a clear, concise platform for his ever-growing client list.

The websites took much longer than initially planned, but both client and designer were very happy with the outcome.

Late March, we completed another original web presence: Essence Catering Co’s www.essencecateringnsw.com.au.
